Specification © Andrew R L Sampson 2005.

Features:

Organ designed to be economical in size, but very versatile. Based on the size and concept of the Father Willis organ (1864/1882) at Reading Town Hall (it has just 38 speaking stops over four manuals).
All action is mechanical, except for Barker-lever for Great couplers (and Great transmission when any Barker couplers are in use). Drawstops are mechanical with electrical assistance.
Pressures: Pedal: 3¾"; Choir: 3½"; Great: 3¾"; Swell: 3¾"; Solo: 4", Grand Trombone 10".
Compasses: Pedal: CCC-F, 30 notes; Manual CC-A 58 notes. Metal pipes (inc 32') are spotted (chorus reeds, diapasons, strings); flutes, mutations and quiet reeds are 70% lead.
General pistons and all couplers are duplicated by foot pistons, with 8 Pedal foot pistons. 2048 piston channels etc. Balanced Swell, Choir and Solo pedals (mechanical).
Organ designed to provide rich and full foundations, bright but fresh chorus reeds, beautiful and beguiling flutes, strings, mutations and solo reeds. Solo Trombone (unenc. & chamade) is bright, firm, with good body: a bright, fiery, early Victorian Tuba
Console has terraced horizontal (curved) jambs as above.
